Pacific Place has transformed into a vibrant floral wonderland this summer with the debut of Takashi Murakami’s Ohana Hatake pop-up, titled “Field of Flowers.” Running from 31 July to 13 August, this exclusive event marks Murakami’s first Ohana Hatake showcase in Hong Kong, offering a dazzling fusion of fashion, art, and culture.
At the heart of the pop-up is a breathtaking hanging cherry blossom installation, a sculptural masterpiece making its world premiere. Murakami’s signature superflat aesthetic infuses the space, creating a whimsical floral dreamscape that seamlessly blends art with fashion. Visitors can snap Instagram-worthy photos by the striking mirror wall while immersing themselves in this imaginative display.
The pop-up also features the global debut of four new colourways for Murakami’s iconic footwear collections: Ohana Full-Bloom and Surippa Ohana. Highlights include bold floral-inspired slides in shades like Buttercup and Lime Zest, alongside nature-themed tones such as Deep Forest and Sweet Grape. These wearable art pieces are perfect for adding playful sophistication to any summer wardrobe.
Perks and Rewards
From 31 July to 13 August, visitors can enjoy special perks with same-day purchases, including limited-edition tote bags and specially brewed Ohana Hatake coffee. Additionally, an exclusive rewards programme runs until 24 August, offering Pacific Place shopping vouchers for shoppers who meet spending thresholds, with extra benefits for Standard Chartered Cathay Mastercard® holders.
