If you are bored with traditional playgrounds in Hong Kong we have some news for you! Have fun at the hand-knitted textile indoor playground at IFC Mall this Summer in Hong Kong!
As part of the “Life is beautiful” campaign initiated by IFC Mall, the hand-knitted playground, “Harmonic Motion,” will be opened to the public this Summer for free! It is also an art piece by the famous textile artist, Ms. Toshiko Horiuchi MacAdam. This expansive net structure is made by Ms. Horiuchi MacAdam entirely by hand. This innovative design is not only a delight to the visual sensory enjoyment, but also the structure is carefully designed so that tension can be maintained when fibre stretches thereby enabling children to play safely. Climb, jump and have fun this Summer!
