The Peninsula Hong Kong has just announced its continued collaborative venture with one of the city’s most cherished icons: the 125-year-old Star Ferry. After the event’s immense initial success (March-July 2023), the beautifully appointed and lavishly renovated Star Ferry will start welcoming guests again on September 2 till December 17 with three new and different experiences to choose from!
Indulge in three uniquely themed Afternoon Tea experiences that showcase the latest happenings at The Peninsula Hong Kong. Each session, from 1:00 pm to 2:45 pm or 4:00 pm to 5:45 pm, promises delectable cuisine, delightful live music, and the renowned Peninsula service.
The new season of Afternoon Tea on the Harbour presents a tantalizing assortment of sweet treats crafted by The Peninsula’s Executive Pastry Chef Florian Couteau, along with savory bites prepared by The Lobby’s Chef de Cuisine Anton Ho.
On September 2, 3, 9 and 10, guests are invited to savor their Summer Afternoon Tea. Immerse yourself in a culinary journey while enjoying picturesque scenery along Victoria Harbour.
Starting on September 16, in celebration of the opening of The Peninsula London, an “All Things British” Afternoon Tea will be launched. Indulge in traditional and indulgent fare that pays homage to the origins of the afternoon tea ritual. Discover savory sandwiches, hot teacakes, and scones – all inspired by the Victorian era and the Duchess of Bedford.
As the Christmas holiday approaches, from November 25 to December 17, guests can experience their festive “Teas of Hope” menu aboard the World Star. Enjoy an abundance of seasonally themed sweet and savory delicacies. For every afternoon tea purchased, The Peninsula Hong Kong will donate US$5 to Make-A-Wish Hong Kong, continuing its tradition of giving during this time of year.
Enhance your experience with their special beverage packages, which include premium wines and Champagne. For those seeking an extra touch of luxury, caviar is also available at an additional cost.
To complete the Peninsula Afternoon Tea ritual, live music will accompany your journey. Immerse yourself in an upbeat atmosphere with a new contemporary playlist curated for your listening pleasure.
