HKU Sandy Bay Rugby Presents Juniors Season Opening Day In Hong Kong

Rugby is a staple sport in the city of Hong Kong and is something that moms, dads, teens, and kids can get in on. The HKU Sandy Bay RFU is celebrating its 30th sports season and has lined up a fantastic and fun event for the kids. This event is for all Mini and Youth players who have long played for the club and who wish to begin playing rugby. Mini and Youth players are within the under 5s and under 19s age group.

This season-opening event will allow kids to meet their prospective coaches. As well as, become introduced to Hong Kong’s rugby champions including a sampling of the Grand Championship winning Men’s Premiership players and Senior Women’s player. There will be fun games and activities to partake in, and we encourage families to drop by with the kids anytime between 9am and 11:30am to join in on the fun!

Those who have preregistered for this event will be collecting their rugby playing kits for the 2019 to 2020 season; however, newcomers can register on-site and receive their kids on Sept 1, 2019.
