MURAKAMI vs MURAKAMI is a comprehensive survey exhibition of the colorful and creative art pieces by Takashi Murakami, a Japanese contemporary artist. This exhibition tops the list for art events that the kids will love this summer. The artwork is not only bright and bizarre but also varied. The three-floor exhibition is filled with funky sculptures, paintings and statues, and guests are asked to wear slippers over their shoes that will be provided as the floor itself has been incorporated as a component of Murakami’s art.
There will be a pop-up merch store carrying Murakami’s artwork on posters, notebooks and even shaped as pillows, so the kids will even be able to take a piece of the art home to keep as memorabilia.
