Step outside in Singapore and you’ll see plenty of nature-seekers on wheels – roller skates, skateboarding, cycline, you name it. Now, there’s a huge new sports rink at Punggol Container Park at Punggol East that’s open, and the best part? It’s fully sheltered so you can skate for hours without care or concern for the weather.
The space is brightly lit with colorful spaces, which will attract all ages. It also spans 12,000 sq ft and features humps, pipes and curbs to practice your skating skills and tricks. Don’t worry if you’re a beginner either – there’s a whole range of equipment you can try too. These include penny boards, longboards, pedal go karts, inline skates, scooters and more.
At the moment, rates start from SG$16 for 2 hours, with equipment provided. You can even swap out equipment during your session to try different activities, or bring your own as well if you’re already an expert. Trial lessons are also available for booking via WhatsApp – who knows, you might just pick up a new hobby in no time!
It’s fully sheltered, which means you can get your skate date in, no matter what’s the weather!
