Singapore Oceanarium (Resorts World Sentosa) unveils Hangyodon Marine Discovery, the largest Hangyodon-themed immersive experience in Southeast Asia and the first collaboration of its kind. Running from 28 November 2025 to 4 January 2026, this holiday event marks the 40th anniversary of Sanrio’s beloved half-fishman character Hangyodon, bringing together ocean education, storytelling, character experiences, and festive magic in one spectacular showcase.
This specially curated edutainment trail follows Hangyodon and his best friend Sayuri the octopus as they embark on their first ocean getaway. Every zone blends whimsical Sanrio storytelling with purposeful marine learning—from coral propagation to shark conservation—while highlighting how the ocean is deeply connected to our daily lives.
Interactive panels, immersive installations, and colourful visuals guide visitors through stories of ocean health, marine species, and the effects of pollution. Families and children are invited to engage, touch, learn, and play at every turn.
