Where To Watch The NDP 2026 Flypast With Kids In Singapore?

Singapore families, get ready for one of the most thrilling free spectacles of National Day! The iconic State Flag Flypast returns for NDP 2026, offering kids and parents a chance to cheer for the Red Lions of the sky without needing stadium tickets. This majestic display features helicopters carrying the Singapore flag soaring across the Kallang Basin and the Marina East Jetty area, creating unforgettable photo moments and patriotic vibes for the whole family.
Sadly, the NDP flypast will not take place at the Heartlands this year. So, pack your picnic rug and the kids’ favorite snacks, then head to The Kallang Basin. This year, the CH-47 Chinook will carry the state flag, and it will be escorted by two AH-64 Apache helicopters.

- Who: Open to all families across Singapore – perfect for little ones excited by planes and helicopters.
- When: Expected around 6:55pm on National Day (Sunday, August 9, 2026). Exact timings and routes will be confirmed closer to the date – check official updates!
- Where: The Kallang Basin
- How to Join: Completely free! Just head outdoors with picnic blankets, snacks, and cameras. No tickets required.
THE SCOOP: What To Expect At The NDP Flypast 2026:
- Spot the CH-47 Chinook and AH-64 Apache helicopters carrying the state flag, which spans 30m by 20m, larger than the size of two tennis courts!
- The state flag will start from the south of Singapore, then head towards the Marina East Jetty area and Dunman High School, then it will make a left turn into Kallang Basin towards Sheares Bridge.
