A Delectable Duet Of French-Chinese Flavors
A new fine-dining restaurant of contemporary cuisine is set to open within the iconic Jinrikisha Station located in Tanjong Pagar. Born is the inaugural restaurant in partnership with Chef Zor Tan, and is based on the philosophy of the Circle of Life, a philosophy that embraces Zor’s childhood memories, professional journey, and personal ideals.
Zor has always sought to create his own ‘voice’ as a chef. At Restaurant Born, by presenting his unique brand of contemporary cuisine on the world stage alongside more well-known cuisines, he seeks to bring communities – East and West — together. He constantly pushes the limits to bring out the artist and leader within himself, hence creating a restaurant that marries the elegance of French cuisine and the rich flavors of Chinese cuisine together.
Chef Zor Tan’s first restaurant is a much anticipated fresh start for the accomplished fine-dining chef, who carries the torch of gastronomic excellence.
