Relive the good old days at Mama Diam, a newly opened bar that’s taken inspiration from traditional provision shops. On the outside, it looks like your typical ‘mama’ shop, stocked with old-school snacks and toys, but walk through the hidden entrance and you’ll enter a cozy bar that serves locally inspired food and drinks.
Enjoy cocktails like their Pandan Sour or Rosie (which tastes a little like Bandung which is a concoction of rose syrup and milk), while munching on dishes like the Crab Kueh Pie Tee or Pork Belly Char Siew Tacos.
On your way out, remember to snap some shots at the entrance with your friends for a keepsake!
It's such an interesting concept that serves a touch of nostalgia.
Anyone looking for a cool new bar to hang out at — especially if you love hidden entrances!
They're open every day, from 4pm to 10:30pm.
