Calling all nature-loving families! If you wish to learn about Macau’s unique biodiversity, go on an ecological trail at the Avenida da Praia in Taipa. There you will find a stunning wetland area that attracts many animals, such as dragonflies, butterflies, forest birds, and other fascinating wildlife.
This spot is also great for bird lovers as there are specific bird-watching houses set up in the area in order to not disturb their habitats. Aside from the interesting ecological trail, visitors can also visit the ecological pond in the wetlands.
Teach your kiddos about Macau’s biodiversity with the handy explanation boards about wildlife in the wetlands. These info boards are scattered throughout the marsh, offering helpful information about birds, insects, and aquatic plants.
