We only have one planet earth and our children will inherit it and protect it. Today, now more than ever before we are teaching our children recycling and composting to contribute to a cleaner and more sustainable planet. Yet, Hong Kong lags behind its counterpart cities in renewable energy, energy efficiency, transitioning to electric mobility, and curbing greenhouse gas emissions.
That’s why on Friday, March 15 starting at 11am students all over the city will be gathering together to make their voices heard and you can join too! Bring your own banners and posters (made from reusable materials of course), and march down to Chater Garden where the walk will begin. School can wait but the climate cannot, so take up your family and invite your friends to join this climate strike!
Friday, March 15, 2019, starting 11am to 2pm.
