Comic lovers will be excited for the Hong Kong Arts Centre’s Once Upon A Time (OUAT) Comics Touring Exhibition. A wonderfully curated set of works and art installments, the exhibition will feature pieces from local artists such as Dolly Lee and Samson Chu as well as pieces from foreign artists including Claire Malary and Thomas Gabison from France. The featured comic works will visualize fantasies into realities and indulge in all of the drama of the fantastic comic world. You can expect comic stories about everyday life and social issues characterized by sophisticated characters, dramatic storyboards, and boundless imagination.
This art event is free admission and can be enjoyed by the whole family. If you’re interested in learning more about the technicalities and business of the art world, be sure to check out Intellectually Yours, a talk about rights and licensing on August 28th from 3pm to 5pm. It, however, will be conducted in Cantonese.
