Pici Teams Up With Netflix Star Chef For Young Pasta Chef Competition!

Does Your Child Have What It Takes To Be Hong Kong’s Next Pasta Chef? Calling all little foodies! If your child loves getting creative in the kitchen, they could be Hong Kong’s next pasta prodigy! Popular fresh pasta restaurant Pici has teamed up with Netflix’s Culinary Class Wars champ Chef Kwon Sung-jun (a.k.a. the “Napoli Mafia”) for an exciting Young Pasta Chef Competition.

This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity invites kids aged 4 to 12 to learn the art of handmade pasta, compete in thrilling culinary challenges, and even meet Chef Kwon Sung-jun up close!

How It Works

Here’s the breakdown of the competition:

1. First Round: From now until May 24, 2026, register your budding chefs online, uploading a cute photo of your child with food and sharing why they love cooking.
2. Second Round: Selected kids will attend a Pici Handmade Pasta Workshop on June 6, learning to craft fresh pasta alongside Pici chefs. They’ll enjoy a delicious meal, receive a certificate, and compete for a spot in the semi-finals. Fee: HK$ 100 (fully rebated as an HK$100 Pici dining cash voucher)
3. Third Round: The semi-finalists will be challenged to get creative by designing an original ravioli recipe using a mystery ingredient list!
4. Final Round: On June 27, 2026, the top five young chefs will compete live at Pici’s 10th Anniversary Market, crafting their ravioli creations in front of Chef Kwon Sung-jun, who will crown the ultimate champion.
