Aman Resorts have just announced an exciting series of family experiences across Asia that are designed to suit multi-generational groups. While it might be hard for us here in Asia to travel right now, we can at least dream and start planning those long-awaited holidays for 2022!
Amanyangyun – Shanghai, China (through 31 March 2022)
Children visiting this stunning resort just outside of Shanghai can enjoy specialized activities from the Nan Shufang and Cultural Discovery Center, pick vegetables on the Organic Vegetable Tour, and experience the Sunset Lotus Lamp Blessing during their stay. The hotel provides special amenities for the kiddos including a map that is chopped every time they complete a new experience.
Amandayan – Lijiang, China (through 31 December 2021)
With spectacular views across Lijiang’s Old Town, Amandayan is a very special hideaway. Located in Yunnan Province, the most culturally diverse province in China, guests can learn traditional Nakhi singing and dancing, as well as lessons in Dongba writing. Visit a 200-year old Nakhi home, learn about the culture, its languages and arts, before sitting down to a memorable Nakhi meal prepared with the freshest local produce.
Amanoi – Vinh Hy Bay, Vietnam (through 31 March 2022)
Secluded between the untouched jungle of Núi Chúa National Park and the crystal waters of Vinh Hy Bay, Amanoi showcases a spectacular contrast in landscapes. Families can take part in unique adventures such as stargazing, family cooking classes, treasure hunts, and visits to the local fishing village. With one of the best spas in Asia, parents can indulge a little whilst the kiddos are out having fun.
Amansara – Siem Reap, Cambodia (through 31 March 2022)
Formerly a residence fo guests of the Cambodian King, Amansara is a masterpiece of new Khmer architecture. Head out with the family on a countryside jeep adventure with ox cart rides, archery, and a picnic lunch. Enjoy a private tour of Angkor Wat and Ta Prohm with a guide who will bring the temples alive for the children, before enjoying breakfast at a Khmer Village House with rice noodle making and an organic garden visit.
Amanpulo – Pamalican Island, Philippines
Probably the most loved of all Aman Resorts, Amanpulo is set on its own island just an hour by private plane from Manila. The resort has just introduced new bonding wellness treatments for families to help nurture ties. The Chillax Massage is designed to soothe muscles for parents and children aged 13 to 16 and encourage the progression of verbal and social interaction. Other fun activities include group yoga, Zumba (always a hit with the kids!), and a Jungle Run.
Aman-i-Khas – Ranthambore National Park, India
Home to approximately 75 tigers, a few hundred crocodiles, and over 350 species of birds, Ranthambore National Park is an animal-loving child’s dream. Young guests are encouraged to explore the area’s spectacular diversity and natural beauty on guided walks with Aman-i-Khas’ naturalist. What better way to learn about the animal kingdom than by getting up close and personal with the animals?
Pairing luxury and learning never sounded so good!
Active kids who are after more than the typical hotel Kid's Club and parents looking to treat themselves to a nice holiday after over a year of minimal travel.
