Hot off the press! The Rafa Nadal Academy is bringing Southeast Asia’s first Rafa Nadal Tennis Center to Lombok, Indonesia, giving families a world-class place to play tennis and padel together from early 2028.

Located within the exclusive Samara Lombok resort on the island’s southern coast, the center will feature four tennis courts and four padel courts with programmes for players of every age and ability, all based on the methodology Rafa Nadal and his team have refined over more than two decades.
Just 25 minutes from Lombok International Airport, Samara Lombok spans 150 hectares and will open as the first “Destination by Hyatt” in Southeast Asia. The initial phase includes three boutique hotels and 150 villas (with plans for 500 residential villas in total).
