Kids will love the oxcart rides, cycling through the countryside, paddling boats on Inle Lake, and interacting with warm and welcoming local children.

CAMBODIA

A week is the perfect amount of time to fit in a lovely three-stop circuit of Cambodia. Families with older children may opt for a stopover in Phnom Penh for a rather sobering history lesson that includes a visit to the Killing Fields and museums. Or head straight for the southern coast for a stay at Song Saa, an eco-friendly resort on two side-by-side private islands.
