Shenzhen is preparing to unveil Huafa Snow World, the largest indoor ski resort globally, set to open in October 2025. This expansive facility will offer year-round skiing, making it a fantastic destination for families and tourists from Hong Kong and beyond!
Spanning approximately 131 hectares, Huafa Snow World will feature an 80,000 square-meter indoor ski slope with an impressive vertical drop of 83 meters. In addition to skiing, the resort will include a luxury JW Marriott hotel, themed retail spaces, and various entertainment facilities, all designed with sustainability in mind.
Traveling from Hong Kong to Shenzhen is convenient, with options including a train to Shenzhen followed by a subway ride that takes about 1 hour and 4 minutes. For those preferring more convenience, taxis and private cars are also available.
Compared to other indoor ski resorts in China, such as L+Snow in Shanghai and Wanda Snow Park in Harbin, Huafa Snow World will stand out not only for its size but also for its family-friendly offerings. It promises a comprehensive winter sports experience without the need for extensive travel. We can’t wait!
We will update this page soon with more details, stay tuned!
The opening of Huafa Snow World is great news for Hong Kong residents, providing easy access to skiing and winter sports year-round. As we eagerly await its launch, this resort is set to become a premier attraction in the Greater Bay Area!
