Every kid’s favorite kind of daxiongmao is nearly here! Arriving September 6th on a ten year “diplomatic visa”, Singapore preps for the arrival of her newest VIP expats, giant pandas Kai Kai and Jai Jai. Housed in an ultra posh pad at the Singapore Zoo, Kai Kai and Jai Jai will receive the royal treatment, from being flown via five-star Singapore Airlines to enjoying their climate and humidity controlled 1,600 square meter home in River Safari built exclusively to their needs.
Panda fans young and old can get a behind-the-scenes look into Kai Kai and Jai Jai’s lives through the windows of kitchen and research centre, where visitors can view the mealtime prep process and see where Zookeepers monitor panda enrichment activities to keep its fuzzy guests happy and healthy.
Cupid calling! Get in the mood for love as this precious panda pair meets their destiny in Wildlife Reserve Singapore’s conservation breeding program. So, we’re assuming there will be plenty of opportunities to catch these playful pandas in snuggles and hugs between their estimated 12-hour-daily mealtime habits.
