What the kiddos do at Camp Magic?
Engage: They engage with themselves, and with each other. They engage with circus equipment, with their bodies, their voices, with a soccer ball. They engage with story, art, and music. They engage with their hands, with their hearts, and with their feet.
Believe: Children are encouraged to believe in their skills and natural talents. They are given the opportunity to try many new things each week – from art projects, woodworking, and stilt walking, to wool spinning, clay play, and juggling. Through the caring guidance of qualified, positive personnel, children thrive at Camp Magic. We believe – so they believe. It’s that simple.
Connect: Through connecting with the weekly story, the children connect with a very rich and deep part of themselves. They connect with their friends, and with a warm community of artists, actors, musicians, circus performers, and storytellers. They connect with what makes them feel happy and good. Awaken The Camp Magic experience awakens the children to fresh ideas, our amazing planet, and to the community in which they live.
Celebrate: The most important thing the children do at Camp Magic is to celebrate. They celebrate each Friday with their families -‐ by performing, and showing them the incredible skills they have learned developed. And each day they celebrate all of the new things that they have learned.
A program that fuses a child's passion for the natural world and their wondrous abilities to create through story, performance, circus, and art.
