The Singapore Sailing Federation offers various Opti sailing courses, including Junior, Sailor, Racer and Star, depending on your child’s experience and skill set. The Opti courses are a great way to introduce children to the sport of sailing in a non-competitive setting, starting with the basics and explorative skills to competition standards. Opti Junior is an introduction to sailing for kids and teens between seven and 12; the courses will help build their confidence and independence through inspiring and fun lessons. The children learn in pairs in an Optimist to understand how boats work, navigate the winds and discover sea creatures in their exciting new environment.
