At the first Digital for Life Festival Singapore organized by the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA), we will be able to explore how technology can impact our lives, at work and at play. This movement aims to promote good digital habits, and mitigate the risks of online harms such as phishing attacks, fake news, and cyberbullying.
Many webinars and onsite activities have been planned for the festival, and they fall under three main pillars – Adopt Digital Wellness, Learn Digital Skills, and Tinkering With Tech. There will be workshops on navigating the POSB digibank mobile app and recognizing the characteristics of fake news, and also webinars for parents to learn tips on how to manage their children’s screen time. Students can also participate in a workshop on the Introduction to Block Coding, which equips them with problem-solving and design-thinking skills.
Whether you want to be kept up to date with your digital literacy, or want to pick up a new skill, this festival is the perfect place to kickstart the journey! Have fun and interact with technology as a family.
