Falling on the 15th day of the 8th month according to the Chinese lunar calendar, the Mid-Autumn Festival is the second grandest festival in China after the Chinese New Year. There’s so much more you can do this time around besides eating mooncakes, appreciating and worshipping the moon and making colorful lanterns. Revel in the festival celebrations for the Mid-Autumn Festival in Singapore as Robertson Quay transforms into a luminous, festive wonderland for this festival! Expect a series of family-themed events and fringe activities including a human claw machine that will launch you into a pool of treats! Be a part of the lantern walkabout that will take place through Robertson Walk and will be followed by a cruise along the riverbank on the iconic riverboat. Not forgetting our favorite LED Kite performance to end off the night! Complete with a boat ride experience along Singapore River, this mid-autumn festival will be a truly unique experience for all.
