Nestled in the heart of Chinatown along Mosque Street, The Moon is an all-inclusive cozy three-story shophouse enclave for reading, cafe dining and hosting events. What sets apart this bookstore from the rest is its focus on literature written by female writers and writers of color. Named after a flight of whimsy, The Moon is the brainchild of Sarah Naeem and Lee Jiaqian, who envision to build up the place that can become the heart of a community. After picking up a good read, head on to the cafe to get your coffee fix. Pair it with a seasonal cake and you’ll have yourself a chillax day out.
