Singapore’s dessert maestro, Janice Wong, has just launched a new ice cream concept, Softhaus! Located in Great World City, the store spots a fun and whimsical theme that immediately draws you in.
True to Janice Wong’s style, the ice cream creations here are bold and artistically put together. It promises “a multi-sensory experience driven by the idea of togetherness”, and it’s a happy place for all, where ice cream is for everyone.
With inclusivity as the focal point of her ice cream creations, some flavors are made with plant-based milk to provide non-dairy, lactose-free ice cream options. Sugar substitutes such as maltitol are used for a healthier alternative, and only single-origin chocolates are used in Softhaus.
The 16 flavors include Mango Banana Passionfruit Sorbet (SG$6), Keto-Friendly Milk Tea (SG$6), and Single Origin Columbia Chocolate (SG$7). Go crazy with over 20 toppings ranging from SG$0.50 to SG$1 such as strawberry popping boba, freshly baked macarons, and iced gem biscuits. You can also choose to have your ice cream in a cup or cone (SG$1), waffle bowl (SG$1.50), or have it sandwiched between a slice of rainbow bread the old school, nostalgic way.
With plant-based and sugar-free options to choose from, everyone from the youngest to the oldest in the family can enjoy a sweet treat together, sans the guilt!
Those who have a sweet tooth and are looking for a healthier alternative.
Ingredients used are sustainable and locally sourced. Check out the website for more interesting flavors and toppings.
Opening hours are from 10am to 10pm, daily.
