Instead of cones and waffles, you’ll get to indulge in the comforting joy of gelato with croissants! For SG$5.30, you’ll be served an oven-hot croissant, with the option of adding a scoop of ice-cream flavor of your choice. An additional dollar will let you coat the combination with a pistachio or hazelnut sauce drizzle, completing your ultimate dessert. The heat of the buttered croissant melds perfectly with the coldness of gelato, creating a balanced fusion of contradicting sensations in your mouth. The unique combo works well and is sure to delight both kids and adults.

It’s worthy to note that Dopa Dopa Creamery tends to only have a limited array of 8 flavors at one time (from SG$4 a scoop), which isn’t a bad thing considering that each of them tastes equally great. The focus on quality over quantity results in acquired options like Hojicha, Apple Ginger Sorbet, Banana and Speculoos with Lotus Biscuit, all proving smooth consistency with every lick.

The future seems to get brighter, with new flavors (lotus with salted egg yolk, anyone?) introduced sporadically, and milkshakes to also make an appearance on their menu.
