Chin Mee Chin Confectionery Reopens In Singapore

Featuring Classic Charcoal-Grilled Toasts And New Items!

Chin-Mee-Chin-Confectionery-Singapore

The iconic Chin Mee Chin Confectionery has finally reopened after closing down more than two years ago, and families living in the East Coast and Katong area can now enjoy its traditional kaya toasts and coffee again!

Located at the original space where it once stood, the refurbished space is a nod to nostalgic old school Hainanese-style coffee shops with wooden chairs, marble tabletops, and mosaic tiles. The patio area is a hit with the Instagram crowd hoping to get a shot with the large mural, but once that settles down, it’s a nice spot to hang out with a cup of kopi and while away the time.

The menu features classic items such as the Kaya Toast Set (SG$4.90), which comes with buns grilled on charcoal, a cup of aromatic Nanyang coffee, and half-boiled eggs. Other items on the menu include custard puffs, luncheon meat buns, and Swiss rolls, all made according to their original recipes, bringing back familiar flavors of yesterday.

Why Little Steps Loves It:
