A Free Online Channel With Interactive Ballet Content!

Hong Kong Ballet has launched an exciting free online channel featuring interactive ballet content on Facebook! HKBALLET@HOME is perfect for parents working from Hong Kong, and kids doing school online who are itching for dance-related entertainment. New content will be posted on the channel every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 3pm in the coming weeks.
On Mondays – Ballet Goes Viral
“Ballet Blahblahblah”, is an inspiring series to be hosted by Artistic Director Septime Webre with Company dancers and guest speakers. “Ballerina Chef,” is a fun cooking series where HKB dancers will share with you their secret recipes. Finally, in “Ballet 101,” professional ballet dancers will uncover common ballet myths.
On Wednesdays – Barre Classes Online
Company members will host barre lessons for children and adults. Only a chair will be needed. HKB dancers will also teach classical ballet choreography at pre-beginner to advanced levels.
On Fridays – Flashback Fridays
Aptly named, the content will show you highlights from a fantastic video archive of HKB dance artists over the years.
This is a fantastic way to spend time at home. It will get the kids and parents entertained and moving! Check out the full program here!
