    Hong Kong Arts Development Council "Beyond the Singularity"

    March 16 - April 7, 2024
    • What: Presented by the Hong Kong Arts Development Council, "Beyond the Singularity" marks the grand finale of the ARTS • TECH Exhibition 2.0 and stands as Hong Kong's inaugural AI-themed art event. From March 16 to April 7, 2024, this groundbreaking exhibition explores the deep intersections of AI with human life and creativity. The show takes its name from the concept of 'singularity,' once solely linked to the physics of black holes, now repurposed to envision a time when AI's intelligence eclipses our own. It aims to showcase the seamless fusion of art and AI as well as to challenge our understanding of humanity's place amidst rapidly progressing machine intelligence. You will find art pieces ranging from ink and Western painting to photography, music, and more, all born from the union of artists and AI tools.

Renowned for its discerning selection of films and comprehensive retrospectives, the HKIFF has set a high standard in festival programming, serving as an archetype for numerous film festivals that have since emerged across the region.   • Sino Group Presents Digital Art Showcase “Chromaflux” For Hong Kong Art Month

    March 25 - May 5, 2024
    • What: During Hong Kong Arts Month in March, Sino Group and HKwalls, a non-profit arts organization, unite once more to showcase "Chromaflux," a captivating digital street art exhibition. This vibrant display at the Sino LuminArt Façade in Tsim Sha Tsui Centre and Empire Centre features the work of five talented local and international artists. From March 24 through May 5, 2024, one of Victoria Harbour's largest multimedia walls, spanning 4000sqm, will illuminate with "Chromaflux," complementing "Art@Harbour2024" and reflecting the outdoor exhibition by Team Lab in Central. Additionally, Sino Group's involvement extends to its shopping malls and commercial properties, with artistic events like China Hong Kong City Car Boot Art Fair and Lee Tung Avenue Street Art Showcase, and exhibitions at Landmark South’s ADC Art Space. This year's "Chromaflux" boasts an expanded roster of five new-media artist groups, including Bond Truluv from Germany, Frederic Bussiere from France, Pavel Mrkus from the Czech Republic, and the Hong Kong duo of Kristopher Ho x Andy Lau, along with Lousy. Their digital art, displayed on the massive Sino LuminArt Façade from 6 to 11pm, traverses various themes, from dreamscapes and existential explorations to harmonious nature-human unity and messages of love and peace.

  • Planet Walala @Harbour City

    March 21 - April 21, 2024
    • What: Harbour City celebrates Hong Kong Arts Month with "Planet Walala @Harbour City," a dazzling exhibition by French artist Camille Walala, from March 21 to April 21. The event highlights include the first Hong Kong City Sign, a 3-meter-tall installation named "Now You See It, Now You Don't," and Walala's first outdoor maze, "A-MAZE," a 3,500-square-foot colorful labyrinth. Additionally, her solo exhibition "Metropolis" at Gallery by the Harbour displays 12 abstract paintings inspired by the city's architecture. Harbour City also hosts interactive art activities to engage visitors. Walala's work, known for its Tribal-Pop style and bold geometry, transforms spaces into playful art experiences that connect viewers with the urban landscape and promote joy through vibrant colors. Entry to the exhibition is free and no registration is required.
