Great for long walks and sandcastles, Nusa Dua Beach is long, wide, sandy, clean, and safe! The waves are low as they break on the reef, and the waters are shallow. Note: beach shoes are essential here because of the seaweed and coral.

A 5km long, partially clean, and relatively well-maintained sandy beach. Kuta Beach is a magnet for tourists, always full of surfers and sunbathers. It's known for its brightly colored umbrellas, which gives a fun vibe. The beach is safe for sand play, but not always for swimming since the waves are high at times and the currents strong. Hard Rock Café Bali and Beachwalk Shopping Center are nearby for more fun!

Lovina is a coastal town located on the island’s North and the perfect place to relax and unwind. Gili Meno is the smallest, the most quiet and the most family friendly of the Gili Islands. The beaches, especially the ones facing Lombok, are very safe for swimming and there’s plenty of sand for sandcastle building. Echo Beach offers black sands approximately 35 km northwest of Kuta and Seminyak, in the serene rice field-landscaped region of Canggu. Swimming is not recommended here, as the waves are big and the currents strong. A perfect spot for seasoned surfers, if there is one in the family! Welcome to Bali's quieter side. Sanur Beach may not be as manicured as other beaches, but it’s clean and safe for kids, and the waters are shallow. Swimming shoes may be useful as usually there is seaweed at the coastline. Rent a bike and enjoy a ride along the path behind the beach, or choose any of the water sports available. Plenty of warungs, cafes and restaurants and a variety of dining options can be found along the beachfront.

If you want to escape the crowds and hassle of Kuta and Seminyak, Jimbaran Bay is the place to be. The sandy beach is well maintained, and the water is clear blue.
