A Riverside Cafe In A Historic Compound

Hong Sien Kong Cafe: The café is spacious and situated within a historic riverside compound featuring six beautifully restored buildings that were once pivotal in rice trading with China. Owned by the Hong family, who have been in the antiques business for forty years, this venue includes a café, dining area, live music performances, and exhibition spaces. The family has meticulously preserved the original architecture, showcasing an intriguing collection of rare furniture, artifacts, and antiques. Little Steps visited and while the menu was a bit limited, they did have curry and drinks.  We recommend more for a cafe outing as the location can't be beat!  Sit outside by the water.
