The next time you’re vacationing in Langkawi with the kids in tow, be sure to drop by the Langkawi Wildlife Park for a close and personal experience with animals. Formerly a bird park, it now includes a small number of wildlife exhibits. You won’t find your typical safari animals, but the ones here are bound to delight the little ones, especially when they get to feed them with the little bags of food available for sale.
There are birds, saltwater crocodiles, foxes, mousedeers, racoons, rabbits, fishes, reptiles and more. The beautifully landscaped park is large enough to spend an hour or more wondering around while you feed the animals or pose for photos with them. Entrance fees is RM39 for adults and RM22 for children between 3 and 12 years, while MyKad holders enjoy a discount.
It’s a great place to introduce friendly animals to the young ones.
Families with children of all ages.
Duty-free shopping and two cafes are available on site to satisfy hungry tummies.
Open daily from 8:30am-7pm.
