Situated in one of London's most upscale neighborhoods, Belgravia, near Hyde Park Corner, the hotel offers some spacious rooms and suites for families: we love the junior suite (king bed or two doubles) with honey onyx bath and walk-in wardrobe and the Belgravia Suite, which features an expansive private terrace and whirlpool bathtub.
Kids and parents can turn James Bond for the day with the Children's Adventure Quest, where they'll need to track down a prized spice mix that's been pilfered from The Peninsula London’s acclaimed chef, taking in Buckingham Palace, the Thames and Downing Street as they decode clues.
Overlooking one of London's most famous parks – there's a playground with a giant wooden pirate boat for the kids to play on– the Mandarin Oriental London Hyde Park features cool art deco-inspired details that recall the golden age of travel. Tipi tents and gaming consoles are available on request, as are curated movie nights.
Check into the Mandarin Family Room, which comprises two interconnecting bedrooms, each with its own marble bathroom and space for a rollaway bed if there's five of you. The Two Bedroom Superior Suite with separate living area is another spacious, gorgeously luxurious option if money is no object.
A cool fusion of Japanese and Scandi design awaits at this five-star marvel in Marylebone, where cribs, play areas, and babysitting services are all available on request. There's a special welcome gift for each child, while kids eat free at the hotel (we love the sound of the Japanese-inspired afternoon tea with matcha and cranberry scones).
Go for interconnecting rooms or book a One Bedroom Suite, which offers sleep timber beds, with sofa bed, extra bed or cot all available on request.
Situated near popular family destinations such as the Natural History Museum and Hyde Park, at the Resident Kensington kids can cozy up in rooms with bunk beds, or you can request a sofa bed /rollaway beds in the deluxe rooms.
Each room is equipped with a mini-kitchen, featuring a microwave, fridge and kettle for those evenings when you just want to flop. Staff can pre-stock your in-room fridge and larder with any items you prefer 24 hours before you rock up.
Located near the Thames on the South Bank, this hotel offers great views over the river and is within walking distance of the Tate Modern and the London Eye.Family Collection rooms feature two queen beds, while Superior Collection rooms feature one king bed and a sofabed.
The on-site restaurant, Art Yard, offers a two-course kids' meal, and the menu includes an art quiz and a lesson in color theory.
Located near Westminster and Whitehall, St Ermin's boasts family rooms equipped with twin doubles or queen beds and there's a large family suite featuring two queen beds, two bathrooms, a sofa bed and a sitting area that can sleep up to six (teepees available on request). Children receive a spy activity book on check-in, which can earn them a secret spy pass, redeemable for a special mocktail in the Caxton Bar, where real spies once met.
Kids will also love the rooftop bee 'hotel', where these industrious insects can be viewed safely from behind glass. The Bee and Bee Hotel, meanwhile, is a series of hexagonal suites that's home to non-honey making bees and other helpful insects like ladybirds and lacewings.
Located on Embankment, this hotel offers family suites with views of London landmarks Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament. On check-in, kids get a goody bag, and they'll love splashing about at the indoor pool.

While the hotel doesn't have any rooms or suites big enough for families, you can request Novotel connecting rooms (discounts offered), while kids stay and eat breakfast free. A great choice if you're traveling with teens in tow.
Boutique shops, live entertainment, craft stalls… it's all going down at Z Hotel Covent Garden, which is a few minutes’ walk to three of London’s West End theaters: Theatre Royal Drury Lane, Lyceum Theatre and Aldwych Theatre. You're well connected here, too, being a three-minute stroll away from Covent Garden Leicester Square, Charing Cross tube stations.
While the rooms aren't big – the hotel group describes them as "compact luxury" – The Z Family Room offers two queen beds or a queen and bunk over two tiers split by a few stairs. Great for a short, busy stay when all you need is somewhere to rest your head at night.
Seconds away from one of the world's most iconic landmarks, Premier Inn London Tower Bridge is also a short walk from the Tower of London, HMS Belfast and the Shard, and is a great wallet-friendly option. When hunger strikes, there's a 24-hour restaurant, The Social (try the unlimited full English breakfast).
Featuring the hotel group's new generation bedrooms, Standard Family Rooms include a double or kingsize bed, plus a sofa bed and pull-out bed depending on the number of guests. The hotel also provides travel cots at no extra cost.
