No class is ever the same at Dover Court International School (DCIS), which follows an inquiry-led and play-based learning style that emphasizes holistic development. You can find out more about this unique approach at their upcoming Open Day in May 2026.
With a revamped program centering on the school’s initiative of Nurturing Early Success Together (NEST) for children aged 3 to 7 years and a massive new play area with several age-appropriate zones about to make its debut at the start of the academic year, it’s an exciting time for Dover Court.
Register now to attend their NEST Open House on May 12, 2026 and find out more!
At DCIS, teachers follow children’s interests and curiosities to build projects that matter to them while expertly connecting these to academic pillars, meaning no two classes will ever be the same. This creates deeper engagement, stronger motivation and more meaningful learning.
Under their Nurturing Early Success Together (NEST) program, which covers nursery to Year 2, parents are viewed as partners. There are practical, two-way briefings on your child's progress and needs to encourage greater achievement, as well as key moments, such as exhibitions and showcases, where parents see the learning firsthand. NEST emphasizes holistic development in specific classes, including swimming, Mandarin, computing, coding, PE, music, and more.
Outdoor play is a key component of the NEST program at DCIS. To demonstrate its commitment to the importance of outdoor play, the school is currently designing a brand new Discovery and Play Cove, which will be ready for students to enjoy at the start of the next academic year.
Register for the Open House to discover how NEST helps young children grow into confident, curious and compassionate learners.
