Join OIC (Organisation of Illustrators Council) for a fun-filled Sunday afternoon and get your little tikes in on the sustainable fashion movement. At this workshop, kids bring their old t-shirts, dresses, shorts, pants and other clothes that they have outgrown or grown bored of to make them new again under the guidance of artist and illustrator Joycelyn Wong. An upcycling project, it allows them to create their own unique reconstructed wearables using the pieces they bring, before customising them with scraps of cloth and other materials. Older siblings’ tees can be made into a shirtdress, statement necklace or even a bag – time to dig out those hand-me-downs!
Participants must bring some old clothes to work with, the more the merrier! Open to children aged 7 to 11 years old.
Price: SG$50 per pax. Register here!
