It’s Showtime, Singapore! Beetlejuice The Musical Is Haunting The Esplanade – January 2026

Hold onto your sandworms—Beetlejuice The Musical is heading to Singapore for the first time ever in January 2026, and it’s bringing a full Broadway-sized spectacle to Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay! After a critically acclaimed season in Melbourne and a return to Broadway, this outrageously fun production will star none other than Andy Karl, the three-time Tony nominee known for Groundhog Day, Rocky, and Moulin Rouge! The Musical. Karl’s hilariously chaotic take on everyone’s favourite striped-suit spirit is sure to leave audiences howling (with laughter).

Based on the cult Tim Burton classic, the show follows Lydia Deetz, a goth teen obsessed with the afterlife, who ends up summoning the most hilariously inappropriate demon imaginable. Expect exorcisms, haunted houses, sandworms, and a whole lot of cheeky humour, all set to an original score by Eddie Perfect and directed by the genius Alex Timbers.

Visually explosive and sonically wild, this all-out Broadway-scale production will showcase jaw-dropping sets, special effects, dazzling projections, and choreography that turns the afterlife into an unmissable musical thrill ride.
