For families seeking a stronger Mandarin foundation, the EtonHouse ZhongHua Full Mandarin Immersion Programme — offered at its Zhong Hua, Newton, Vanda, Upper Bukit Timah and City Pre-School campuses — has been hugely popular, immersing children in Mandarin from the pre-nursery through an inquiry-based approach.
In primary, the award-winning Mandarin Immersion Pathway at EtonHouse International School Broadrick has proven highly effective in helping students develop real Mandarin fluency, consistently delivering top results in the annual Youth Chinese Test while maintaining strong English and Maths scores. Students can then pursue Mandarin further as an IGCSE and A-Level subject at EtonHouse International School Orchard. For families ready to take language learning beyond Singapore, EtonHouse's China Immersion Programme offers two enriching pathways for children aged 3 to 8 years. The Pure Mandarin School Immersion Programme places children into an EtonHouse school in China for one to four weeks, learning alongside local peers entirely in Mandarin. The Cultural Immersion Programme, available during school holidays, combines three days of classroom immersion with two days of family cultural excursions across Suzhou, Chengdu, or Beijing.
