Kick off 2026 with Light to Night Singapore, returning for its 10th edition from 9 to 31 January. This year, the festival runs longer than ever, spanning four weekends, and transforms the Civic District into a vibrant canvas celebrating creativity, community, and connection under the theme “The Power in Us.”
Visitors can explore interactive art installations, including the brand-new SANTAI series—Malay for “to relax”—which invites festivalgoers to pause, gather, and enjoy immersive works at five key gathering points: the Padang, Empress Lawn, Front Lawn at The Arts House, ACM Green, and Esplanade Park. A highlight is Michael Lin’s Gathering on the Lawn, where participants carry paper lanterns with batik-inspired designs, lighting up the Padang as they move, create, and connect.
The festival also features projection mappings on iconic Civic District buildings, delectable treats, roving performances, and the expanded Art x Social: Festival Village at St. Andrew’s Road and Empress Lawn, perfect for families and friends. Free and ticketed programmes include the Sing Song Social Club, playful art tours by social media personality Zaki Hussain, and Life Prep (Art x Bakes), blending food, movement, and multisensory art experiences.
