Gochu Singapore: Spicy Korean Eats In A Unique Cave-Themed Restaurant At Yishun, Singapore

Gochu Brings Korean Comfort Food, Fiery Flavours, And A Cave-Themed Dining Experience To Yishun’s Orchid Country Club!

Gochu Korean Cave Restaurant Singapore Yishun

Korean food fans, there’s a hot new name to add to your must-try list — Gochu, the bold new Korean dining and BBQ restaurant at Orchid Country Club that’s serving up spice, style, and serious comfort food. Opened by the team behind D’RIM, MODU, and Kimchi Dining, Gochu takes its name from the Korean word for “pepper” — and trust us, the heat here isn’t just in the kitchen!

Step inside and you’ll feel like you’ve entered a modern-day cave — complete with textured rock-like walls, echoing sound effects, and cosy lighting that makes every meal feel like an adventure. The attention to detail in design is as impressive as the flavours coming out of the kitchen, blending the drama of a themed restaurant with the heart of homestyle Korean cooking.

A Menu That Hits Every Craving

Gochu’s menu runs the full range of Korean comfort food, from hearty stews and noodles to sizzling K-BBQ favourites. For lunch, the Pork Rib Kimchi Jjim Bansang (SG$28) and Beef Cheongguk Doenjang Stew Bansang (SG$24) steal the spotlight — rich, thick, and deeply flavourful, they put most watered-down jjigaes to shame.

Prefer something cool and refreshing? The Black Soy Cold Noodle (SG$22) is Gochu’s twist on the classic Kongguksu, while the Chilli Pickle Noodle (GS$18) balances heat and sweetness in every slurp.

When it comes to sharing plates, don’t skip the Zucchini Pancake with Dried Prawn (SG$16) or the Grilled Rice Balls (S$12) — but the real star is the Spicy Big Crispy Stuffed Chilli (SG$12). It’s a fiery showstopper: juicy, meaty, and so spicy it might just test your limits.

Come dinnertime, the grill takes centre stage. The Sous Vide Grilled Pork Ribs (available in Sweet & Savoury or Spicy) are smoked over binchotan and oakwood for a deliciously charred finish that’s both tender and full of depth.
