There’s not many combinations that make us feel warm and fuzzy quite like coffee and donuts, and if you love your round-shaped confectioneries, you’ll have something new to rejoice about!
Popular Japanese café Haritts is already a household name in their home country of Tokyo, and for good reason. As proof of how in demand their donuts are, the store controls their snaking queues back home by allowing customers only three donuts per person during peak hours! The same could very well happen with the brand opening their first store in Singapore recently, with many already clamoring for a taste of these treats.
One bite into the donuts and it’s hard not to be a fan. Instead of the traditional doughy bread-like texture that most are familiar with, Haritts’ donuts pack a tad more thickness which makes them addictively chewy. There’s also an array of choices to order from, including Earl Grey, Matcha, and their signature Cream Cheese. But here’s the catch – despite there being over 40 flavors on the menu, there will only be 10 types made per day. This only means that return visits will be in order, but we say it’s worth it!
The donuts aren’t overly sweet, which make them a perfect sugary treat for any age.
Anyone with a donut craving!
The store space has a seating area that fits around 10 people, and a bar counter for five more pax. Head down early or during off-peak hours if you’re planning to stay and indulge a little!
