Urbanscapes is one of the longest-running creative arts festivals in Malaysia. Since its inception 17 years ago, the aim of Urbanscapes has always been to bring together Malaysian creative communities from the fields of music, the arts, design, film, and other creative disciplines. The festival has grown leaps and bounds to become internationally known and attended. Urbanscapes 2019 is set to rock Malaysia in November, welcoming a whole host of globally-renowned headline acts alongside some of the best local talent in the way of live music and performing arts. It is one of the first collectives to bring the convergence of art, entertainment, ideas, music and the uniqueness of Kuala Lumpur’s character to the regular folk like us; the very name has become a mainstay in our psyches as the leading creative arts festival. Spread across nine days, Urbanscapes 2019 kicks off with a better and a bigger lineup of musical, visual and performance artists that will take over Kuala Lumpur with a city-wide festivities.
This year, the Unlimited Grooves Festival (UGF) by U Mobile returns with a three-day music extravaganza that will culminate with Urbanscapes’ closing party. On 21, 22, and 24 Nov at Sentul Depot, UGFwill showcase local and international musicians for every palate such as Boy Pablo, Colde, Lost Spaces, Sunset Rollercoaster, and The Drums.
We suggest checking in on their Instagram to find out more and to always stay updated on what the complete line-up will me. Now we know, we need to count the days to November
