Ocean Park’s Virtual Reality Free Fall Ride In Hong Kong

Ocean Park has a brand new ride installed this Summer, and it’s like no other in the city. The Abyss ride has been fully upgraded to include an optional virtual reality feature that is themed as a space voyage. The VR component was created in consultation with Dr Aprille Joy Ericsson who is an Aerospace Engineer. The upgraded VR Abyss ride will be awesome for all the kids who dream of flying through space with NASA, and of course for thrill-seeking parents!

The ride itself is a free fall ride with a 20 story drop. In competition with Ocean Park’s Hair Raiser roller coaster, The Abyss is arguably the scariest ride at the park! Riders must be 132cm or taller and the the VR headset is only available to people aged 13 and up. This space adventure ride is not for the faint of heart, but even if you’ve got the chills the hyper-realistic graphics and vista effects might just make it worth it.
