The cornerstone of Hong Kong’s reggae scene takes place at the HK International Reggae Ska Festival. This is the 5th year that the festival is running and with great music and great vibes, this is a fantastic music event that the whole family can get in on. Gaining popularity every year, the festival has upgraded venues from PMQ to Southorn Stadium to host a larger audience!
The lineup this year includes bands from all over the world. You can expect Keith & Tex from Jamaica, The Ska Flames from Japan and The Red Stripes in Hong Kong to name a few. If you’re working on getting the family and friends into this Jamaican music genre, this festival is a great introduction to live reggae music.
