Studio Perak is a small mom-and-pop jewelry shop in the artistic town of Ubud, offering hands-on silversmithing classes. Using traditional Balinese jewelry-making equipment and techniques, guests work with Ketut, a talented Balinese artisan. Ketut limits the class size to four, so you’ll get a lot of personal attention. And you can expect a relaxed vibe at this laid-back workshop which emphasizes creativity and fun.
Using ancient techniques, the process begins with sketching on a silver sheet, followed by cutting, hammering, sanding and polishing. No matter what your style is; urban chic, bohemian, nature-inspired, tribal, fashion-forward or edgy, here you can create your own one-of-a-kind masterpiece. Will it be a ring, a pendant, or a bracelet? You choose!
Children 8+ are welcome.
An amazing way to experience Bali, creating one-of-a-kind jewelry with your kids!
Crafty mamas, creative teens and those who want a bit of sparkle.
3-hour workshops cost 250,000 Rp. and are held Monday through Friday, 9am – 12pm or 2pm – 5pm. If space is available, reservations can be made as early as one day in advance.
