When it comes to quality early education, no one does it better than Stamford American International School’s Early Learning Village.

Teachers And Curriculum
At Stamford American, the unique curriculum is guided by the USA Head Start Early Learning Outcomes Framework and the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Year’s Program (PYP). STEAMInn – Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics, and Innovation is integrated across the curriculum. Teachers monitor children’s learning by using GOLD ™Assessment system.
Parents are kept up to date with five daily teacher blogs, a weekly newsletter, four quarterly reports and two parent-teacher conferences.
Specialist Programs
World class specialist programs include specialist languages of Mandarin or Spanish, English as an Additional Language (EAL) support, and a Bilingual English and Mandarin program. Offered from Pre-K to Grade 5, the program has a unique one-bilingual-teacher approach where the bilingual teachers and teaching assistants are fluent in both languages. They are also the only school in Singapore to offer the world-renowned Suzuki Violin Program from age 3, with the option to progress to cello from KG2. Physical education, meanwhile, starts at 18 months with the acclaimed SMART Steps and Perceptual Motor Program. Visual arts lessons in the Primary Years Program (PYP) curriculum are designed to foster creativity and self-discovery.
State-of-the-Art Facilities
Inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, the Early Learning Village is a safe, experiential learning space for Early Years children. A treasure trove of state-of-the-art school facilities, featuring child-height windows and doors, six outdoor playgrounds, a covered swimming pool, library, health centre and a parent cafe.
An International Community
More than 75 nationalities make up the student population, while the academic teaching teams comprises over 30 nationalities. This international community embraces diversity and celebrates each other’s cultures.
Flexible Schedules
They provide flexible weekly and daily options so families can design the early years school week to suit their needs.
