Middleton International School Set To Open Third Campus In Singapore

Driven by the strong demand from parents for high-quality international education that’s affordable, Middleton International School, which is part of the EtonHouse International Education Group, will open its third campus in February 2022 (subject to CPE’s approval).

Located next to Haw Par Villa MRT station in the West Coast of Singapore, this campus will cater to learners from Nursery 2 to Grade 5 (ages 4 to 11). Fees are below SG$20,000 a year, excluding GST.

Ng Yi Xian, Executive Director of the EtonHouse International Education Group who started Middleton in 2017, said, “By keeping operating costs low, we are able to provide affordable international education without compromising quality. An inquiry-driven school, Middleton follows EtonHouse’s Reggio Emilia-inspired Inquire-Think-Learn programme for its Early Years. EtonHouse is the only organisation in Singapore to work directly with Reggio Children as part of its international network. The primary programme is a blend of the globally recognised Singapore Maths, UK National Curriculum, with the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) framework. The West Coast campus will offer Mandarin, French and English as an Additional Language and intends to offer more language options in response to the community’s needs.

The environment at the West Coast campus will have a focus on design thinking and innovation to create learning spaces that foster creativity and students’ voice. The facilities include large well-equipped classrooms, a spacious indoor play area, a well-resourced library, specialists rooms including arts and languages to develop different interests and abilities, and an atelier for the Early Years learners to hone their creativity. It also has its own dedicated outdoor space for open field explorations and physical education.
