Singapore Maker Extravaganza

Singapore Maker Extravaganza showcases the amazing work of all kinds and ages of makers—anyone who is embracing the do-it-yourself (or do-it-together) spirit and wants to share their accomplishments with an appreciative audience. This year, Singapore Maker Extravaganza will be themed around the 17 Sustainable Development Goals laid out by the United Nations General Assembly in 2015 for the year 2030. Using science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (S.T.E.M.), makers from Singapore and the region are encouraged to address the following goals in particular: (1). Quality Education, (2). Good Health and Well-being, (3). Clean Energy, (4). Reduced Consumption and Production, (5). Decent Work and Economic Growth, as well as (6). Innovation and Infrastructure.

Be ​inspired ​by ​ the showcase​ of ​interesting, ​wacky ​and ​fun ​projects ​in ​science, ​art, ​craft, ​engineering ​and ​technology, ​and ​exchange ​ideas ​with ​their ​creators. ​Find ​out ​about ​the ​latest ​happenings ​in ​the ​Maker ​scene ​at ​the ​talks, ​and ​learn ​how ​to ​make ​something ​at ​the ​many ​workshops! ​ ​There’s ​something ​for ​everyone ​at ​this ​festival ​of ​discovery, ​play ​and ​creativity!
