Singapore Maker Extravaganza
Themed Around 17 Sustainable Development Goals
Singapore Maker Extravaganza showcases the amazing work of all kinds and ages of makers—anyone who is embracing the do-it-yourself (or do-it-together) spirit and wants to share their accomplishments with an appreciative audience. This year, Singapore Maker Extravaganza will be themed around the 17 Sustainable Development Goals laid out by the United Nations General Assembly in 2015 for the year 2030. Using science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (S.T.E.M.), makers from Singapore and the region are encouraged to address the following goals in particular: (1). Quality Education, (2). Good Health and Well-being, (3). Clean Energy, (4). Reduced Consumption and Production, (5). Decent Work and Economic Growth, as well as (6). Innovation and Infrastructure.
Be inspired by the showcase of interesting, wacky and fun projects in science, art, craft, engineering and technology, and exchange ideas with their creators. Find out about the latest happenings in the Maker scene at the talks, and learn how to make something at the many workshops! There’s something for everyone at this festival of discovery, play and creativity!
Admission: SG$8 (child) and SG$10 (adult)
