Bonobo To Headline Inaugural ‘Somewhere Out There Festival’ At Fort Canning This August
Singapore’s live music scene is about to get a thrilling shake-up with the launch of the first-ever Somewhere Out There Festival, happening on August 16, 2025 at Fort Canning Park. Headlining the debut? None other than Grammy-nominated electronic maestro Bonobo, known for his genre-defying sets blending soulful electronica, world music, and ambient beats. But this is no ordinary festival—it’s a one-day, multi-sensory celebration of music, art, wellness, and food, carefully curated to bring people together in the heart of the city.
Organised by Fabrik Asia, the creative minds behind Boiler Room Singapore and Jamie XX’s shows, the event promises something for every vibe. Festivalgoers can explore three distinct stages—Evermore, Roots, and Canopy—each with its own musical journey. Expect high-energy DJ sets, live performances from international and local acts, and epic collaborations from collectives like Ice Cream Sundays, Blackout Agency, and Wild Pearl Studio, who will turn the Canopy Stage into a haven of wellness, creativity, and self-expression.
It’s not just about the music. Somewhere Out There Festival also features interactive art installations, live art by top local creators, insightful talks by industry changemakers, and a food village showcasing the best of Singapore’s culinary scene. Whether you’re here for the beats, the bites, or the vibes, this is where artistry meets community. The festival runs from 2pm to 10:30pm, and early bird tickets start at SG$98. With more big-name acts in electronic, indie, and hip-hop still to be announced, this is set to be one of the must-attend events of 2025.
