There is already a lot to do at Genting Highlands from theme parks to retail outlets and it also houses many world-class restaurants. Check out our guide to Family-Friendly Things To Do At Genting Highlands. However, the next time you head there for a holiday, there will probably be tons of new additions you can look forward to with the announcement of Malaysia’s largest indoor entertainment hub – Tropicana WindCity is set to open at Genting Highlands very soon. We’re not complaining!
Roughly a 40-minute drive away from KL, the 596-acre property will be a must-visit destination for tourists of all ages. Visitors can come to expect a variety of joyous activities such as indoor water theme parks, ski resorts, aquarium restaurants, roller-coasters, go-karts, and much more for all to enjoy! Additionally, the natural landscape will be protected and utilized as a means for jungle trekking and other outdoor experiences, but with a modern twist to it by installing dancing fountains and giant LED screens. It seems like you can even surf there, so keen beginners can test out baby waves before hitting real ones at the beach.
Though the opening date hasn’t been announced yet, perhaps it’s time to start saving money for your next big family-friendly vacation soon!
Cable cars will apparently be available to get you from one end to another, definitely a friendly option for the kids and elderly!
The entire family!
There are also options to take an outdoor rope course or jungle trekking.
