Family Time At Bukit Jelutong Eco Community Park, Malaysia
A Recreation Park In Shah Alam For Some Wholesome Fun
A private initiative but open to members of the public, Bukit Jelutong Eco Community Park or BJEC Park in Bukit Jelutong, Shah Alam is a much welcomed green space managed by volunteers of Persatuan Lestari Alam Malaysia. Visitors can visit the park to hike on the 1.6km loop trail, indulge in photo taking, or just admire the natural surroundings while kids can have fun petting the farm animals or bring their scooters here.
The park which opens from 7am to 7pm daily offers a hiking trail for an easy 30 minutes climb to the top while kids will enjoy the open space to roam free. The nearby lake is home to some fish, and fishing activities are allowed here. Another major attraction that keeps families coming back is the resident farm animals such as goats, sheep, ducks, peacocks, and fishes. Currently, animal petting sessions are held every weekend between 9am to 9:45am only. The park is kept neat and clean, thanks to the volunteers, and visitors are encouraged to play their part by not leaving any rubbish behind.
